What book(s) have you read recently that would make a great basis for stimulating conversation?

"Confederacy of Dunces" by John Kennedy Toole. I have never laughed out loud while reading a book as I did with this one.

What's your favorite nonfiction book ever?

"Winston and Franklin: An intimate portrait of an epic friendship" By Jon Meacham

What's a novel that you read for a high school or college requirement that really stayed with you?

In High School, "The crucible" even though it may not be technically considered a novel, it is a great story nonetheless. In College, a collection of Sherman Alexie short stories. I think it was "The Lone Ranger and Tonto fistfight in heaven".

I enjoy reading and also want to meet new people. Plus, the format of this group (choosing from several different books) caught my attention.
