Node.js Group First Meetup

This will be the first meeting of the Jax Node.js User Group. There will be a short introduction to go over the goals of the group and to thank the sponsors and members.

Kevin Sakhuja from SportsYapper will be giving the featured presentation on Node.JS. His presentation will include a quick intro into Javascript / Node.JS - what is Node, and how it is different from other systems. The presentation will also take a look at the module system for Node.JS.

Advanced topics will include some of the different use cases for Node.JS, such as Async communication - API layer, Data streams, Real time data & concurrency, PubSub, Gaming, Web apps, Analytics data capture, WebHooks and other tasks.

He will also go over where not to use Node.JS.
