Virtual Global Azure Bootcamp 2020

UPDATE: The Global Azure Bootcamp team has decided to go virtual this year on the original dates and maybe do a "Lite" event later in the year. So, there won't be anything formally organized locally in Jacksonville, but if you're still interested in taking part in the virtual even there are a couple of links to go check out:

2. https://virtual.globalazure.net/ - signup to be notified of virtual even updates. They also have a call for speakers, so if you are interested in presenting at the virtual event, use the link at the bottom of this site to submit a session.

If there is a lite event later in the year and we're able to host in Jacksonville we will, but for now, this virtual event is the only thing planned.

Hopefully, we'll be back for our normal in-person Global Azure Bootcamp in 2021. I hope everyone is staying safe and healthy and feel free to reach out with any questions!

POSTPONED: Due to this being a global event beyond just Jacksonville, the global organizers of the event have decided to postpone the event until later in 2020. While we talked about trying to keep the one here in Jacksonville, the postponement at the global level resulted in a loss of sponsorship for food and door prizes. Trying to hold the event on our own without global support just isn't feasible from a financial level and, with everything else getting put on hold figured it wasn't worth trying to push forward.

We'll keep this meetup open so people can continue to register in order to stay up-to-date on the new dates. We'll update this with the new dates as we get more information from the global organizers. Hopefully, we'll have them soon and can update this meetup accordingly.

Welcome to Global Azure Bootcamp 2019! All around the world user groups and communities will be learning about Azure and Cloud Computing, including in Jacksonville, FL!

This is the 8th Global Azure Bootcamp and Jacksonville's 5th. We'll have FREE classes on Azure for Developers and IT Pros including structured labs, breakouts sessions, and areas to collaborate and learn along with other attendees.

First and foremost, bring a desire to learn! This is an educational event, and we want it to be an opportunity for everyone to gain new skills. If you have a laptop, please bring that as well. We'll have Wifi available and you'll be able to follow along with any hands-on labs.
