JFD have a storied history in the Dragonboat world and we have competed all around the Southeastern US and the World. Our team is more family than just club; we have as much fun out of the boat as in it. And if you want a full-body workout but parts of you body don't... we have a workout for you.

How to Join us:
Come to our Intro to Dragonboat Paddling or our New Paddler practices.
Our Intro session is exactly that, a relaxed outing meant to introduce you to the sport of Dragon Boat.
Our New Paddler practices are for those who have paddled at in our Intro sessions. We cover Technique, drills and practice calls.
You're welcome to either, only thing we ask is that you sign up and complete the Liability Waiver.

FREE - Intro to Dragon Boat Paddling
All Wet Sports, 8550 Beach Blvd., Jacksonville, FL, USOur Intro to Dragon Boat Paddling session is a relaxed, engaging experience designed to introduce you to the sport of dragon boat racing. This session is hosted by the Jax Fire Dragons | Dragon Boat Club.
We launch from behind All Wet Sports (8550 Beach Blvd.) and paddle up Pottsburg Creek and back.The session is beginner-friendly and not overly strenuous. You’ll be out in the sun, enjoying some fresh air! We’ll be on the water for about an hour, so we recommend hydrating beforehand.
What to Know Before You Go:
- Start time: 10:00 AM
- Arrival: Please arrive 20 minutes early to allow time for check-in, gear distribution, safety briefing, and basic instruction
- Parking: Park in the gated area. The team will be wrapping up practice, so spots will open up if none are immediately available
- Waiver: Please complete the liability waiver ahead of time if possible
- Hydration: Bring a water bottle or sports drink
- Attire: Dress for a sunny day on the water—expect to get a little wet or muddy (leave the couture at home!). Shoes, flip-flops, sandals, or water shoes are optional. A hat, sunglasses (with a strap recommended), and a towel are also good to bring.
Feel free to stick around after the session to take pictures and hang out!
