Experience a special "tracks & talk" event with British saxophonist and composer Emma Rawicz, one of the most exciting young voices in European jazz. At just 22 years old, she has already made a name for herself with her unique sound and impressive virtuosity – honored with the 2022 Parliamentary Jazz Award and celebrated at international festivals.

I'll limit the participants to 6 people (RSVP only if you can come at this time!) - but the event is open to everyone, so come as you are, without rsvp, it just going to be very crowded later!
After the musical set, there will be an interview with a tip music editor – and you’ll have the chance to ask all the questions on your mind. The interview will be conducted in English.

Despite her young age of 22, she has already achieved much: At 19, Rawicz released her critically acclaimed debut album, "Incantation," independently and organized an extensive UK tour on her own. Since then, her international career has flourished, with performances in over 15 countries. In 2023, she made her label debut with one of the world's most important jazz labels, ACT, and released her album "Chroma," which received great international acclaim and was named Album of the Month by the Guardian: "With 'Chroma,' young British jazz star Emma Rawicz takes admirable risks and continues her rapid development."

Rawicz's achievements have been recognized: she won a Parliamentary Jazz Award and was a finalist in the Jazz FM Awards and the BBC Young Jazz Musician Competition. The Royal Academy of Music recently awarded Rawicz the Musician's Company Silver Medal for outstanding achievement and contribution to the institution – an honor never before given to a jazz student.
Rawicz's musical career spans a wide range: she tours with various projects, from a duo with the internationally renowned pianist Gwilym Simcock to her regularly touring quartet with stars of the British jazz scene to her 20-piece jazz orchestra, which she conducts independently and also composes and arranges exciting original music.
Rawicz is also a passionate educator and is in demand as a masterclass leader. Most recently she has led workshops in Denmark, Lithuania and Norway and is heavily involved in education for musicians of all ages in the UK.
