Comerica Bank Java & Jazz at the DPL will end it's 2025 season of concerts, presenting drummer Sean Dobbins - who got his start in Detroit at a young age as a jazz sideman. Described as “hard-driving, solid rhythm with refreshing melodic sensibility,” Dobbins has received numerous awards and accolades throughout his career. Not only a talented player, he is also a great educator, having served on numerous university faculties.

Join us to see this Detroit creative talent at the final summer concert for the year in the Main Library's Clara Stanton Jones Friends Auditorium. There will be complimentary refreshments… coffees, teas, lemonade, water.
