The Detroit library always brings exciting musicians who bring something different. Join us on Fridays at 4:00 pm for an eclectic selection of musicians and genres, sure to appeal to a wide range of interests and tastes. This is a FREE event, but registration recommended! Register via eventbrite.

Combine Jazz & Poetry and you get Jazzetry. Now add a world spoken word artist, singer/songwriter plus a 9-time Detroit Music Award Winning touring electric and upright bassist and it's something special.

PARKING INFO: Metered on the street using Park Detroit app or kiosks. If you have a handicap plate or placard, you can park for FREE in their Cass circle driveway.

🎼 The Friday Concert Series fulfills DPL's mission to be an educational and cultural hub. It gives Detroiters an opportunity to enjoy free music, to engage in new experiences, and to cultivate cultural intelligence. The Music Department celebrates music, musical artists, and music appreciation.
