Former Jazz Center featured artists the " Proportioned Orchestra " is a music group that features a unique blend of instruments Initially, the group was comprised of drums, vocals, and double bass. Dr. Professor Leonard King — drummer, vocalist, arranger, and founder of the ensemble — gradually expanded the lineup to include four double bassists, guitar, drums, and vocals. This unique combination of instrumentation allows the group to play Hendrix, Monk, Parker,Duke,Ace and others.DIA event details
