Detroit Jazz Fdn.'s presents The NoW trio

The NoW trio's(Ben Maloney (piano),Jeff Pedraz(bass) ,Travis Aukerman(drums))April 27th recording at Gretchen Valade actually premiered "live" online last Friday. They often don't post until the day of but I really
liked this trio so though I'd set a time here for us to listen together, apart, but please check it out anytime.

Each of the trio discusses their musical influencers and Detroit memories like Claud Black,Tad Weed,Wayne Shorter,Art Tatum
,Chick Corea,David Newman,etc.
Most if not all are their original compositions I think.
