Easter Sunday with Jubilee Montreal

Curious about the significance of Easter? Join us for our Easter gathering where we will explore that very thing! Whether you're brand new to the church thing or if you're already a Christian looking for a church to celebrate Easter with, we'd love to have you join us and stay for a free lunch afterwards as well!

We have coffee/tea and connection time from 10:30am-11am, and then we will have a time of musical worship-- you can participate in the singing, or just listen to the music and consider the words of the songs.

Then we will have a message about the importance of the Easter Story-- spoiler- it's not really about bunnies and eggs! We will be looking at how the Easter story speaks to the very real struggles we face in life, such as loss and disappointed expectations. There is something in the human heart that seeks life after death, both in the literal sense and the figurative sense when we've experienced death to dreams and hopes in this lifetime-- the Easter story tells us why!

Lunch will be served around 12:30pm, so please plan to stick around for that!

If you feel a nudge in your heart to do so, check us out for the first time this Easter morning! We are an authentic community of people who are all in different places in the journey of faith, and we would love to meet you!

Please note- there will likely be 20-30 people already at this event who won't respond to the meetup (so if you see just a few RSVP's on meetup don't let that deter you from joining)-- you don't even need to RSVP to the meetup unless you want to, just come and show up at the address, and we will welcome you!
