What weβre about
Who We Are?
There are critical challenges in the world and young people play a significant role in addressing them β both now and in the future.
JCI East and West Melbourne is part of the global Junior Chamber International (JCI), a not-for-profit membership based organisation of young leaders, aged 18-40, from different backgrounds, cultures and professions, who want to tackle these challenges head on.
As a result of our global presence, JCI East and West Melbourne attracts young people from other JCI organisations around the world to join when they move to Melbourne creating an international and diverse group.
For over 100 years, JCI members around the world have acted on one shared belief β the improvement of our society and environment is paramount, not just for us but also for future generations.
Areas Of Opportunity
JCI is all about learning by doing and taking action in a safe and supported environment. We empower young leaders with the skills they need to make positive change through events, training and community projects!
JCIβs 4 areas of development opportunities β community, individual, business and international β provide our members with endless opportunities to try new things and gain new skills.
Becoming a member allows you to learn in our monthly events, gain real experience and build skills through coordinating or assisting with events or projects, and network with a community of passionate, driven people!
