Let's explore the Garden of the Gods in Illinois.

Saturday -
We will drive from camp to the Garden of the Gods to explore. If time allows, we may check out other nearby places. There isn't a set itinerary.

Friday and Saturday night -
We will camp at a campground in Shawnee National Forest. This will be tent/car/primitive/ base camping.

Primitive camping in Illinois is mostly on a first come basis. A campground will be selected once we know how many people are going. The campsite fee is typically $10 per night depending on the campground.

Be prepared for short hikes and bring
