Nature, Nourishment, World

Details
Join us each month on second Wednesdays for a leisurely walk or hike at your own pace, followed by nourishment and conversation. Conversation may be whatever comes to mind, or a topic related to Humanism and nature. For inspiration, visit https://jeffersonhumanists.org/ or https://americanhumanist.org/what-is-humanism/definition-of-humanism/.
Our July event will be a walk around Kendrick Lake (about a mile), at Jewell and S. Kipling Street (a few blocks east of Kipling Parkway), and we'll visit the park's exceptional xeriscaped garden. As always, choose your own pace. After getting our hearts going, we'll regroup across the street at Taste of Denmark for luscious pastries from bear claws and kringle to raspberry cream puffs, and even ham and jalapeño croissants! We'll enjoy coffee, pastries and conversation on their covered patio.
MEETING LOCATION: Parking lot on the east side of Kendrick Lake. Turn north from Jewell onto S. Hoyt Street, then left into the park.
Don't forget; check the MeetUp.com "COMMENTS" for updates and suggestions. To attend this event, please RSVP on Meetup.com or email your host at ASC@jeffersonhumanists.org.
