No Kings!

NO KINGS ON SATURDAY, OCTOBER 18, 3-5
The Jefferson Humanists will be participating as a group in the next big demonstration on Washington Avenue in downtown Golden on Saturday, October 18, 3:00 to 5:00. The theme is again No Kings. “NO KINGS” is more than just a slogan—it’s the foundation our nation was built upon.

This is not a march, it is described as a STAND.
No Kings is a national day of action and mass mobilization in response to increasing authoritarian excesses from the federal government. We’ve watched as they’ve cracked down on free speech, detained people for their political views, threatened to deport American citizens, and defied the courts.

We will be standing one deep, on the sidewalks on either side of Washington Ave between 6th St and 19th St, with our signs and flags. We must not block sidewalks or clog crosswalks.
