NNW 2026 restarts April 8! We'll meet for a one-mile walk on the paved trail around Lakewood's Kendrick Lake and Xeric Gardens. Coffee and conversation will follow at Taste of Denmark (across the street). We'll provide a handout from Lakewood Community Resources about xeriscaping.

ABOUT NATURE, NURTURE, WORLD
Please join us year round on second Wednesdays. NNW combines a leisurely walk with pauses for photo ops and time to share observations, followed by refreshments and conversation at a nearby café. Nature is about immersion into the natural world, nurture is about nurturing mind and body, and world is about interesting conversation. Most locations will be in Lakewood, Arvada, or Wheat Ridge parks. Indoor options will usually be available in case of inclement weather and may include Denver museums or places of interest.

NOTE: Our walks are not hikes, although there may be options at some locations for ambitious walkers. Our focus is on relaxation and enjoyment of nature, and sharing with others.
