Details
Join Humanists Helping Humanity as we participate in the AHA's American Empathy Project on May 2nd from 9 am to 12 pm. Come enjoy snacks, drinks, and live music by the Ferocious Fleas, a local ukulele band.
Empathy is stronger than cruelty.
We will be collecting Hygiene Items for our Spring Hygiene drive to support Denver Human Services Be a Giver drive (https://tinyurl.com/DHShygiene).
We will be accepting body wash, wipes, bar soap, conditioner, shampoo, sunscreen, hand sanitizer, Shaving cream, razors, lotion, deodorant, floss, dish soap, laundry soap, toilet paper, maxi pads, tampons, and emergency first aid kits. We will also have vouchers available for purchase for $5, $10, and $20 dollars, and we will do the shopping for you!
This Event is sponsored by the Jefferson Humanists (Find Friends. Share Ideas. Do Good) thru a grant from the AHA for the American Empathy Project (https://www.americanempathyproject.org/). It is free and open to the public. To learn more about us, see jeffersonhumanists.org.
