Nature, Nurture, World
Details
Join us each month on second Wednesdays for a leisurely walk in nature (weather permitting), followed by refreshments and conversation. Indoor options may be available in extreme weather conditions.
Our May event will include a little history and a lot of flora and fauna, especially birds! We'll meander on paved trails past historic buildings to Kountze Lake, for about a one-mile walk on the dirt trail (mostly flat). We'll pause to enjoy our surroundings, chat, and take photos. Paved trails are also available. Benches, wooden walkways and decks along the way offer views of the water and wildlife. Plan on 45 minutes to an hour to explore. Afterward, we’ll regroup at Village Roaster https://villageroaster.com (Alameda & Garrison), offering a wide selection of teas and coffees, sweet and savory munchies. They have indoor and outdoor seating.

MEETING LOCATION: Please park in the Heritage Center parking lot on Yarrow Street (turn west on Ohio off of Wadsworth). Meet at the top of the steps on the south side of the main building.
