Reading Education Assistance Dogs (READ) visit the library after storytime to help provide support to struggling and shy readers. Take a few minutes to read to a dog! READ dogs are certified therapy dogs and are accompanied by a trained handler. Kids under 12 must have an adult with them, and all visitors must be comfortable and calm around the dogs. This event is subject to the availability of dogs and handlers.

Have you just gotten a new iPhone or recently upgraded? This class covers all the basics of using your iPhone to maximum potential so you can feel at ease and productive with the features of iOS16. This is a hands-on course. Please bring your iPhone, along with your Apple ID and password. This class is intended for adults. Classes are free and open to the public, but seating is limited.

To launch our Fall Seed Library, join us for the Community Agro-Fair. Pick up a variety of seeds, participate in educational activities, and learn how to grow food and fresh vegetables at home.

The kickoff will offer fun for all ages including hands-on seeding activities, food preservation information and Ask a Master Gardner. Kids under 12 must have an adult with them.

The rain date for this event is September 30th.

Bring your guitar, banjo or other instrument and play with other Jeffersonians in the library or outside. We will have a guitar and banjo available to play. Help us celebrate North Florida music and meet fellow musicians. Country, folk, blues and other types of music are also welcome.
