What we’re about
Jeffersonville Game Dev is a group for video game developers and those adjacent to game dev in the Jeffersonville or Clarksville area to come together to work on their projects and collaborate. Our small but growing group boasts programmers, narrative designers, composers, and others in the gaming space. We encourage people who are working on their small (or big) passion projects but especially those who are curious about making games.
We meet at Heine Bros Coffee off of Veteran's Parkway in Jeffersonville, IN every Monday (unless otherwise noted in the Discussion tab) from 2 to 4 pm EST. I hope to see you there!
Note on membership: While we freely encourage anyone to join this group, we also want the number of members online to be an accurate representation of those who actually attend meetups. So, if you want to join, then please have the intent to actually show up some time soon after you join, even just to listen or ask questions. Thank you for your interest and participation!
Note on donations: Donations are completely optional. 100% of all donations will go directly to the maintenance and improvement of this group. Here's how I will manage donations: when enough donation money reaches the threshold for a monthly subscription or close enough to it, I will pay the remainder and earn us a month of a standard subscription tier. At this tier, we would be able to make use of all of the features of an event page on meetup including, most importantly, the ability to create more than two events per month. In addition, our events would have a wider reach.
