Jenkins in Google Summer of Code 2024: Project Ideas Overview

Google Summer of Code (GSoC) is a global, online program focused on bringing new contributors into open source software development. GSoC Contributors work with an open source organization on a 12+ weeks programming project under the guidance of mentors.

To help potential GSoC applicants determine which project idea is right for them, in this webinar mentors will do a walk through of the following project ideas:

- Fixing the Backend Extension Indexer Tool
- Using Bearer Token Authentication for the Git plugin and Git Client Plugin
- Plugin Installation Manager Tool Improvements
- Implementing UI for Jenkins Infra Statistics
- Improving "Plugin Health Score" scoring abilities
