Jenkins Hacktoberfest Day in Nice

This year Jenkins project participates in Hacktoberfest: https://jenkins.io/blog/2018/10/01/hacktoberfest/ . This is a global 1-month event promoting open-source. We invite attendees of the Jenkins contributor summit in Nice to join the event, contribute something, and get Jenkins and Hacktoberfest swag.

During the hackathon we will focus on several projects: Jenkins Configuration as Code plugin integrations, Jenkins X build packs, and Java 11 compatibility. If there is an interest from participants, other topics may be added to the agenda, let us know.

9:00 AM: Check-in, coffee

9:30 AM: Welcome and Intro
Introduction to Hacktoberfest / Jenkins development
Quick overview of projects to hack

10:00 AM: Split to teams and start hacking
Parallel: Oleg Nenashev to run a longer intro to contributors if needed

12:00 PM - 1:00 PM: Lunch (provided)

04:00 PM: Hackathon closedown
Demos by participants
Closing / swag / mingle
