Join Weekend Adventures NYC & NJ | 45+ for a fun summer evening of live music, dancing, and socializing at Lincoln Center.

We’ll enjoy a FREE outdoor Lindy Hop social dance featuring the Louis Armstrong House Museum Big Band as part of Lincoln Center’s Summer for the City festival.

📍 Entrance to The Dance Floor is located on Columbus Avenue at 64th Street.

⏰ Please note: Summer for the City events are often highly attended. We recommend arriving early, as space is available on a first-come, first-served basis. There are no reservations for this event.

Please note: No bags larger than 11” x 17” and no umbrellas are permitted. Complimentary bag check is available inside David Geffen Hall.

A swing instructor will be on hand to lead a beginner-friendly lesson, making it easy for newcomers to join in and have fun.

No previous dance experience is necessary, and many attendees will be trying Lindy Hop for the first time.

No partner is required, and all experience levels are welcome. Whether you’re an experienced dancer, a beginner, or simply want to enjoy the music and atmosphere, this is a wonderful opportunity to meet new people and experience one of New York City’s most vibrant summer traditions.

We’ll meet before the event, mingle, enjoy the live music from the Louis Armstrong House Museum Big Band, and dance (or cheer on the dancers) under the summer sky.

Afterward, those interested are welcome to continue the evening with a casual drink, dessert, or conversation nearby.
