Let's Read with Playing Cards!

Everyone knows that tarot decks are used for divination…but did you know that you can divine with a simple pack of playing cards? Each Tuesday evening, we’ll meet to study and practice this fascinating system.

Sessions will consist of an hour of discussion and an hour of working with cards. Each month we’ll study a different book.

Our book for March will be Ryan Edwards’s Playing Marseille. The deck that comes with this book is a hybrid of playing cards and the major arcana of the Marseille tarot system. While we’ll take a quick look at the major arcana, we’ll spend almost all of our time on the hearts, diamonds, clubs, and spades of the playing cards. We will use this deck for all subsequent workshops.
