Practicing the Habits of Highly Missional People

The American church is undergoing vast changes. Some, in response to a decline in church attendance, are feeling a greater burden to live faith both inside and outside a building. Others, dissatisfied with "playing church," want faith to intersect more richly with everyday life.

Taking our cue from Michael Frost's book: Surprise the World: The Five Habits of Highly Missional People, we will be gathering Sundays at 5:30 PM for a meal followed by coffee, conversation and a gracious challenge for those ready to give the missional habits a try! All are invited to return to hear stories of success, failure, hope, fear, and everything in between.

This is a great opportunity to meet other mission minded Jesus followers across church lines who are open to shaping their lives after Jesus' heart for our neighbors.

Feel free to pop in any or all weeks. Meals are gluten free (and often keto friendly). If you do not want to join us for dinner that's fine - we will break to welcome guests for coffee & conversation at 6 PM. When you enter the front doors turn left then right to find us!

Calendar:

February 9 & 16 - We BLESS people, both inside and outside the church.
February 23 & March 1 - We EAT together, sharing meals with believers and unbelievers alike.
March 8 & 15 - We LISTEN to the guidance and direction of the Holy Spirit as we engage with those around us.
March 22 & 29 - We intimately LEARN Christ as our leader and model for making disciples.
April 5 - We see ourselves as SENT by God to everywhere life takes us, an "army of ordinary people."
April 12 - Break for Easter
April 19 - We see ourselves as SENT (continued).
