🍵 Setting: A relaxed chat over coffee at Moko Cafe. When you enter the Bush Inn Centre main entrance, head straight and find us to the left, next to the entrance to the restrooms. (See photo below for guidance).
🗣️ Participants: All levels of Japanese and English speakers welcome! To make the most of this experience, we encourage you to split your time evenly between speaking Japanese and English.
🎯 Format: Open and flexible - introduce yourself to others and jump into any topic that interests you. Our goal is to mutually improve our conversational skills in a friendly environment.
🕒 Duration: 1.5 - 2 hours of language fun!
💰 Cost: Absolutely FREE! Just support our lovely venue by purchasing a drink or snack.

Hi everyone,
Welcome to our second J-Kaiwa event of 2025.
Doors open at 6:30pm. Event starts at 7pm. We spend 40 minutes in only English, 40 minutes in only Japanese, with a quiz in the middle to get that competitive spirit pumping!
Come and meet new people or catch up with the usual crew! Brush up on your Japanese language skills! Ask questions you have about English!
The event is free, and open to everybody who is interested in making friends, or practising English/Japanese. To support our venue, please feel free to buy snacks and drinks from the wonderful bar staff. The pizza is yum!!! 🍻🍕
