Create Your Own Jewellery
In this 5 hour workshop, you will learn the traditional lost wax technique, a process that has been used in jewellery making for thousands of years. Starting with sketches, you will plan and shape your design before carving it in wax.

You will practice wax carving, shaping, and stone setting, as well as learn how to prepare your piece for casting. Careful attention is given at this stage to ensure that the final result in metal comes out clean and refined. Once complete, your wax model will be cast in silver or brass, and your finished piece will be ready for pickup 2 days later.

A variety of gemstones will be available for purchase, or you are welcome to bring your own to include in your design. This workshop gives you the opportunity to explore professional jewellery-making techniques while creating a unique piece of your own.
