How to Win Hearts and Minds: ADL Communication RE: Antisemitism
Details
Antisemitism has mushroomed by 344% in just five years (adl.org). The October 7 war has created new challenges as Jews contend with the connection of Zionism and antisemitism. How do Jews engage in conversations that are open-hearted and can change negative attitudes into ones of understanding?
Rob Hicks of the Anti Defamation League (ADL) will lead a workshop that offers seven messaging principles and specific tools to use in difficult conversations. These strategies are based on extensive research and field testing. They are not intended for use with people who are firmly set against Zionism and Judaism. We will have a chance to clarify what being Jewish means to us. This Zoom program will include a Q&A.
This is a joint program with Kahal Am - San Diego's Humanistic Jewish Community. You must sign up here by Thursday, March 5 in order to get the Zoom code for this important training.
