What we’re about
We are a Charlotte area Jewish group focusing on those 55 years of age and up, primarily singles, who want to socialize, form friendships, and join together for fun activities and events. At present, except through affiliation with a temple, there are few, if any, opportunities for Jewish singles (of a certain age) to get together in the Charlotte area for organized activities. We enable our members to make real connections and expand opportunities for personal growth. Together, we celebrate our common Jewish heritage, while learning from other members' unique life experiences.
The group will plan a minimum of one event a month. Included will be social activities such as concerts in the park, wine and cheese meetups, lunches/dinners, social dancing; active events like hiking, kayaking, biking, bowling; and cultural and educational activities, including art gallery crawls, museums, and theater. As a Jewish group, we will likely also offer events celebrating Purim, Hannukah, Sukkot, etc.
