Docker container logging with ELK

The number of containers running in production is growing. A container zoo can be very hard to debug and analyze. In this demonstration, let's explore how to collect logs/metrics from Docker Host and Docker Containers with the help of Elastic Beats, ElasticSearch and Kibana.

Se7en Deadly Deployment Sins
Do you have something to confess? Or are you still in denial — knowing that you're doing something wrong, but you cannot say for sure what it is? In this talk, we'll go through our development and deployment sins and how to avoid them.

This will cover both good practices, like integration tests, but also things that are currently riding high on the cargo-cult train, such as microservices and container. Thus we will take a look at the good, the bad, and the ugly side of current software trends. The goal of this talk is to make you think — there are no silver bullets — but also to entertain.
