Jimmy's Dances (EAST & WEST) -
Partner and Freestyle dancing every 3RD SUNDAY at La Danse Ballroom in Beachwood, Ohio AND every 4TH SATURDAY at Starz Ballroom in Westlake, Ohio.
For partner dancing we primarily dance West & East Coast Swing and Hustle, plus some Cha Cha, Carolina Shag, Nightclub 2-Step and Line Dance, as dictated by the music. Dressy-Casual attire. CARRY DRY AND CLEAN DANCE SHOES INTO THE BALLROOM. Finger foods and soft drinks provided. BYOB. PERFECT FOR DANCING AND MEETING PEOPLE IN A CLEAN AND FRIENDLY, NON-BAR ATMOSPHERE!
$10.00 Cash (includes 6:45 pm Intermediate lesson and Open Dancing.
6 pm - Beginner Lesson ($5.00 surcharge) -- 6:45 pm - Intermediate Lesson -- 7:30 pm to 10 pm - Open Dancing
Jimmy's Dance (EAST) La Danse Ballroom 23366 Commerce Park Beachwood, Ohio 44122. Entrance is on the right side of the building. Free parking in the front, the right and rear of the ballroom. DO NOT PARK in the adjacent lot to the right.
Jimmy's Dance (WEST) Starz Ballroom Westlake -- 24510 Sperry Drive Westlake, Oh 44145 -- Additional free parking to the right (east) of the ballroom, across the drive.
Jimmy's Dance's (CENTRAL) -
Partner and Freestyle dancing EVERY MONDAY at Slyman's Tavern in Independence, Ohio, FEATURING CAROLINA SHAG, "The Dance of the South."
Beautiful smooth dance floor -- Great Slyman's food & beverages --Convenient central location -- Near I-77 & I-480 -- Ambience - Fun & upbeat -- Separate room -- Proper casual attire
TWO CHOICES:
1. Carolina Shag lessons & dancing -- 7 pm - Music begins -- 7:15 pm - Beginner Carolina Shag lesson -- 7:45 pm - Intermediate Carolina Shag lesson -- 8:30 - 11 pm Open dancing
COST - $10 (CASH) for entire night 7 to 11 pm, including lessons OR JIMMY'S DANCE PARTY- $5 (CASH) 8:30 to 11 pm -- Carolina Shag, West & East Coast Swing, Hustle, Nightclub 2-Step, Cha Cha, Line Dance, Freestyle
