Hello Dancers -
My next Starz Ballroom Westlake Swing & Hustle Dance -- now called Jimmy's Dance (WEST)-- will be this SATURDAY, December 28, 2019. Ring in the New Year wearing your BLING! The more the merrier!

For partner dancing we'll dance mostly West & East Coast Swing and Hustle, with some Cha-Cha, Carolina Shag, Nightclub 2-Step and Line Dance thrown in, as dictated by the music.

Freestyle dancers now invited as well! So if you have freestyle dancing friends, please invite them.

NOTE: Now that inclement weather has arrived, all dancers should carry their dry and clean dancing shoes into the ballroom so as to not damage this beautiful ballroom floor.

I will be your host and DJ, and will provide my own music playlist and sound system once again. As usual I will provide an array of finger foods and soft drinks. BYOB.

I will instruct only ONE West Coast Swing dance lesson. No 6 pm lesson.

• Open partner AND freestyle dancing 7:30 to 10 pm. NOTE: New earlier time.

STANDARD INTERMEDIATE West Coast Swing LESSON - 6:45 PM TO 7:30 PM (Included in basic price of $10.00). NOTE: New earlier time.

6:45 pm lesson. West Coast Swing. Intermediate & Advanced.

1. Two-handed Sugar Push with Leader doing two Sailor Steps, and Follower doing two Cross & Backs. Then...

2. Lead/Follow series utilizing shake hands hold, right side pull-thru pass, into closed position, breakaway ending.

I would like to express my gratitude to everyone who came to my Jimmy's Holiday Dance (EAST) at La Danse Ballroom in Beachwood. It was a very successful and will continue every 3rd Sunday of the month at La Danse Studio, 23366 Commerce Park, Beachwood, Ohio 44122.

My goal is to provide the finest and friendliest dances of its kind in Northeast Ohio. Your feedback plays a pivotal role in that regard.
