Building a Home for Your Writing: A Guided WordPress Blogathon

Join us for the WordPress Jinja Meetup as we host WordPress for Creatives: Blogathon and Contributathon, a hands-on community event designed for writers, bloggers, designers, content creators, photographers, students, developers, and anyone interested in using WordPress to share ideas and contribute to open source.
This session will introduce participants to the creative possibilities of WordPress, from blogging and digital storytelling to building personal portfolios and publishing meaningful content online. Through the blogathon, attendees will create or improve blog posts, learn practical content-writing tips, and explore how WordPress can support creative expression.
The contributathon will guide participants through simple and beginner-friendly ways to contribute to the WordPress project, including documentation, translations, photos, training materials, community support, and content-related contributions. No coding experience is required.
