Spend a day in stillness and community with Akiva Shapiro, Zen teacher, educator, and author of The Path to Spiritual Surrender. Akiva trained for five years under Ram Dass, whose teachings deeply shaped his path. With almost fifty years of Vipassana practice, he brings a rare depth of wisdom, presence, and compassion.

This one-day workshop is an invitation to step away from everyday distractions. All phones are turned off. Every part of the day is carefully designed to help you open up, breathe, move, and connect—first with yourself then with others. Through guided movement, honest conversations, and deep reflection circles, you’ll explore who you really are underneath daily routines and labels.
Whether you feel stuck, curious, or just hungry for something real, this event is about letting go of old stories, connecting with truth, and leaving with a lighter heart.

  • Group Dialogue on Separation & Truth : Explore what creates distance and what brings connection.
