Impact Nights // OCT: Education & Social Entrepreneurship

Details
In a nutshell, social entrepreneurs in the education sector are leading the change in education in two major ways: challenging the assumptions of education and trying new practices, and offering schools something they are unlikely to be able to produce internally.
On the other side, we still have those conventional educational based NGO trying to survive with full donation driven model. Education and social entrepreneurship also speak about that journey of transformation from full donation driven to developing sets of business model to sustain the operations and the mission.
Every month, we host an informal gathering and discussion with like-minded social entrepreneurs and the purpose-driven community Jakarta. We focus on a different UN Sustainable Development Goal every month and put the spotlight on innovative solutions and the entrepreneurs behind them (that’s you!). Our monthly meetup aims to bring together the impact community in our city, to help raise awareness of local initiatives while building friendships and collaborations between one another.
