The move from Academia to Industry is a major step. JLM-BioCity has invited three captains of the Jerusalem Bioindustry (2 pharma and one Biomed) to hear their advice on career opportunities in the Life Science in Jerusalem, as well as how best to make the move.

The event will end 1/2 hour before the next JLM-BioCity Meeting on "IP STRATEGIES THAT INVESTORS LOVE !".

AYELET DILION MASHIAH, CEO, NETSTEM
Joined NewStem on its inception with 20 years of executive leadership in the life science Industry. Prior to joining NewStem, she was CEO of BioMAS Ltd a Phase II clinical company, Focusing on Tellurium-based compounds for pharmaceuticals following a tenure as CEO for Do-Coop Technologies, an innovative nano-biotechnology startup. Previously Ayelet served as Director at TEVA’s Corporate Economic Department.

GUY GOLDMAN, Founder and CEO, Olive Diagnostics
A serial entrepreneur in the field of data analytics with extensive experience in executive management. Prior to founding Olive Diagnostics, he held senior executive positions at Mobility Pro, ProActive Rail, and Cell Buddy Network, and was the founder of OptimizeIT, which he sold to Better Online Solutions [NASDAQ:BOSC].
Guy holds a BSc. in computer science from San Francisco State University.

NIV BACHNOFF PHD
Has a PhD in Molecular and Structural Biochemistry from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and is the major designer and developer of Omnix Medical’s Antimicrobial Peptides technology. An expert microbiologist with vast experience in peptide-based drug design and drug delivery systems. Dr. Bachnoff is a founding partner of Omnix Medical and has been leading the R&D team in their activities from early discovery stages and up to present achievements. Dr. Bachnoff is responsible for all non-dilutive funding, resulting in securing over $13M from the European Innovation Commission, the United States NIH, and the Israeli government.
