Prototyping and Digital Fabrication

Details
Prototyping is an essential skill in the creative process which aids the translation of product or service ideas into tangible forms. With the advancement of technology, it is possible to incorporate digital tools in the design and fabrication process, enabling project teams to save time and money while achieving high levels of precision and quality.
The goal of this JOGL Africa session is to expose innovators and problem-solvers in the JOGL Africa community and beyond to various prototyping concepts and digital fabrication tools such as 3D printing, thus strengthening their capacity to deliver impactful projects.
The programme will include a presentation and demos from researcher, engineer, and entrepreneur Dr Babasile Daniel Emmanuel-Oladele of GreenLab Microfactory.
