18:20 - Using Blob Storage to Transfer data - JP Vooght

Are you running out of space on your Database servers? Did you know that by using Microsoft SQL Server Polybase and Microsoft Azure Blob Storage you can offload data to the cloud or transfer large datasets between environments? You can even use Microsoft Azure Blob Storage to keep SQL Backups offsite. Microsoft has a powerful, performant tool for data professionals that simplifies ETL/analytics processes and vastly improves time-to-results. Using Polybase together with Azure Blob storage you can democratize your typical data processes so that any team member can move, load and query big datasets.
