Newcastle - John Halpern's Wordplay Tour

Details
>PLEASE NOTE - VENUE CHANGED <
Hi everyone - although ‘freedom day’ June 21 has been postponed, this isn’t going to stop us meeting.
It’s just about workability. I am determined we meet, and that we expand our community, whatever is going on in the world.
With this in mind, the venues have been changed, from pubs to public outdoor spaces.
There is an App called What3Words, on which every small space (about the size of a car) has been identified by a group of three unique words. So you can find me exactly!
Your location has a unique three-word group on this link
https://w3w.co/face.tiny.above . (Use link or app for directions on exact location).
Please do bring a fold-up chair if you feel you need it, as we may well be sitting on the grass - or bring a blanket on which to sit.
Of course, fine weather isn’t guaranteed. Do bring an umbrella if you feel you need to. If the weather is horrific I will have hopefully come up with another plan beforehand - I’ll be watching the forecast!
Do also bring your own drinks or sandwiches - whatever you need to cover the time you’re staying.
Some locations will have cafes nearby, and I’ve attempted to ensure there is a toilet in close proximity.
I very much look forward to seeing you!
With best wishes,
John Halpern

Finally, it’s time to meet up with fellow wordplay friends.
I’ve been really looking forward to meeting you and have set up this FREE tour of the UK to say hello in person. I will also be able to thank you personally for coming on the wordplay journey, as we expand our community.
I had seven days free, so have selected seven venues around the UK at which I’ll be for a three hour period each day - Covid permitting.
I’ll also bring a filled-in crossword grid with some words relating to the tour round the UK - and you can have a go at writing a clue for the UK-tour puzzle, should you wish!
Do come along and say hello for however long you like - just pop in for a moment, or stay for the the full three hours.
Whether you’ve met me via our regular Zoom calls, or through other events, or you know me simply as one of my pseudonyms in the newspapers, or wish to meet other like-minded wordplayers, it’d be great to see you.
Do register your interest here for date and time in your nearest city, and I’ll keep you up to date with details of the meet-up, and let you know should there be change of plans (as government plans may change).
NB I will have had both jabs by the time we meet.
Whilst this tour is free, I am paying for travel and accommodation myself, so any support via Patreon (https://www.patreon.com/johnhalpern) would be gratefully received. Thank you to everyone for contributing.
Take care, and see you soon!
