Nanaimo Sketching Sessions: Unleash Your Creativity

Whether you are an experienced artist or someone who has not picked up a pencil since grade school, you are welcome to join us for our weekly sketching session here in Nanaimo. The goal of these gatherings is simply to get out of the house and spend some time putting marks on paper in a relaxed, low-pressure environment. There are no formal lessons or critiques here; we just provide the dedicated space and time to focus on our own work while enjoying the company of fellow creatives.

We usually spend a couple of hours sketching at our own pace, sharing a bit of conversation, and seeing what everyone else is working on. It is a great way to build a consistent habit and meet others in the area who share an interest in drawing. Please bring whatever supplies you prefer to use—pencils, pens, charcoal, or a sketchbook—and pull up a chair whenever you are ready.
