Remote Workers Out of Office: Owl Mine Hike (2.5 Miles RT)

Details
Need a break from screens and Zoom calls? Let’s swap Slack for sunshine with a short hike to one of El Paso’s hidden relics — the Owl Mine!
This abandoned mine sits tucked away in the Franklin Mountains, and the roundtrip hike is about 2.5 miles with minimal elevation gain — perfect for a light weekend adventure that still feels like an escape.
We’ll meet and park at Franklin Hills Park (6112 Franklin Ave, 79912) before heading out as a group. Once we reach the mine, feel free to peek inside, snap some photos, or just enjoy the desert views. It’s a casual outing, not a summit push, so bring your water, good walking shoes, and curiosity.
Let’s trade WiFi for wild skies and enjoy some #OutOfOffice energy with fellow remote workers.
Coordination happens in our WhatsApp group – ask one of our event organizers for the link to join.
