Unlocking Invitation-Only Opportunities
Details
Increasingly, we are noticing that grantmakers and charitable trusts are adopting a ‘no unsolicited applications’ policy. In an already competitive fundraising landscape, gaining access to invite-only funders can feel like an impossible hurdle to overcome.
Join experienced international development fundraiser Jaymie Duke for this informal, lunchtime working group to explore practical ways to navigate this challenge. We’ll look at proactive ways charities can reach funders directly, as well as how to boost your online presence and credibility to make it easier for funders to approach you. You will also meet peer organisations like yours working in international development across the South West.
The session will include a short presentation from Jaymie, followed by an open Q&A session where participants can share experiences, ask questions, and learn from both Jaymie and peer organisations facing similar challenges. Expect practical insights, honest discussion, and ideas you can take back to your own fundraising work.
