What we’re about

We meet up in Sugar Hill town square to discuss movies. There are no requirements other than a love of discussing films. Not just the content of them, but what they mean and why they were made. Essentially, we discuss films as art - not just as a diversion. You aren't necessarily required to believe that "Joker : Folie a Deux" was a brilliant film (despite what the conformist critics have everyone parroting). But it wouldn't hurt.

We discuss a movie from 1978 and one from 2014. How do we do this? We spin the Random Number Generator Wheel, and then count down the list that I've devised (and which is the most recent list of many passing years). We meet the next week and talk about these movies. I'm fully willing to flip this idea on its head if need be, but it's a good way to start.

(P.S. In the future, I hope we can be meeting at The Artisan. That's the coming-soon bar that will be replacing the now-closed Tannery Row.) I absolutely love that name.
