Looking to learn about how others handle security

Howdy Joomla folks,

I'm a sometimes developer of sites that live on CMSes and lately have been kind of struck by the number of data breach incidents being reported by the news lately. I know most of these incidents aren't related to Joomla, but the ease of setting up sites with popular CMSes make for plentiful/attractive targets to the bad guys.

Anyway, it got me to wondering how agencies and freelance devs are adjusting to cope with an increasingly hostile environment. I couldn't find any real data on this, so I made a short 6 question survey to find out more. If you're an agency dev or freelance dev I'd be grateful for 2 minutes of your time:

https://docs.googl...

I'm happy to share the (anonymized) results, which will hopefully raise awareness around best practices. (Or risky practices!) At the end of the survey you can enter your email and I'll let you know when the data is ready. I'll probably wait to collect a couple hundred responses before sharing to ensure a significant sample. So maybe tell your friends? :)

Thanks!

Huned
