Joomla! User Group Meetup - North Dallas

Topic: Using CiviCRM on Joomla. CiviCRM is a widely used customer releationship managment (CRM) system intended for non-profit organizations. It will install on Wordpress, Joomla and Drupal content management systems (CMS), although the CiviCRM development team has a strong affinity for Drupal. Because CiviCRM uses the user access managment of the underlying CMS there are big differences in how easily you can restrict access to sensitive information.

Bruce Moore will discuss installation experiences and testing of CiviCRM on a Joomla system.

LOCATION: Improving (http://improvingenterprises.com/)has agreed to host our meeting and provide refreshments! (No beer, but at least some pizza or sandwiches ). Their new address is now 5445 Legacy Dr., Ste. 100, Plano, TX 75024. The new location is on the East side of the Tollway off Legacy.
