I am sorry to bother you all like this, and you know that I hate to have emergencies on my hands but I am just going to get to the point of this animal rescue situation.

There are several young cats whose lives are in danger due to a child protective services problem. It has been determined that a young boy, age 7, is killing animals, both dogs and cats. It's too late for the puppies, we can't rescue them.  He is killing an animal a day while we are waiting for CPS to evaluate the home and remove him.

I need a home(s) immediately who can take the mother (6 mo. old) and her kittens (6 weeks old) to help find homes for them. There is also another young cat, 6 mo. old, that has been tortured and has disappeared. We fear the worse. If I can find him, I need to place him also. I am attaching his photo since people will ask. Their color and such is irrelevant. I am not worried at the moment whether anyone likes the color or sex or what not... This is a rescue situation, and I need flexible, understanding, pet knowledgeable people to take these poor babies in and to meet me here in Garland for a pickup.  Finding homes for them is secondary. I need a primary caregiver who can be a point of contact for others in our group wanting to adopt.

If you can step up to the plate, please call me immediately. The mother has to go with the kittens. She is a kitten herself and is very thin/frail. These babies are starving but amazingly enough they are also energetic and loving. Don't know how considering what they have been through.

I don't want to gross anyone out so I am not going into the detail of the torture this child is inflicting. Rex, I would greatly appreciate it if you can resend this email to your other animal related groups such as Garland Pawsabilities.
