Joomla! User Group Tampa August Meet Up

We are excited to announce that our meet up has a new location @ the Microsoft Store Media Center in International Plaza Mall. We encourage everyone to come out for our August meetup as we want to use this meet up to get to know a little more about our members!

Jason Nickerson will give the latest updates in Joomla, including Joomla 3.8 beta which was just released and give a short talk on Finding the right extension for your project. How can you make sure an extension has no security issues? Will it work with upcoming versions of Joomla? and what other pitfalls that can plague us when using a 3rd party extension.

Expect some special surprises too!

To get to know each other better, we will also have Joomla User showcase. Bring your current site or project and tell us more about yourself and the site and how you build sites. We will all contribute suggestions, ideas, and tips on your site.
