eta Aquariids Meteor Shower and dark sky Stargazing near Joshua Tree Nat'l Park

We will be stargazing with the late spring night sky. It is during the eta Aquariids Meteor Shower so we may catch some. It will be a pleasant evening under the stars and you will be guided around the night sky. Best to prepare for a cool evening (sweaters or vests), and bring beverages of your choice, as well as ankle-high shoes or hiking boots. If you have a portable lounge chair or camping chair, bring that also as well. We will send directions out a few days ahead of time.

If you want to come early there is some great hiking. The trailhead is found at the end of a short dirt road a bit past the horse camping area.
