Would you ask a leaf to fall perfectly? Why ask it of yourself?

What is this really about?

What happens when you make a mistake?

Do you fix it? Hide it? Start over? Overthink it? Or immediately become a little harder on yourself?

This month, we’ll explore what happens when we loosen our grip on getting things “right.”

Through guided prompts, creative reflection, and meaningful conversation, we’ll explore perfectionism, self judgment, expectations, and the ways we respond when things don’t go exactly as planned.

And this time, we might even make a few mistakes on purpose.

Not to get rid of perfectionism or convince ourselves that every flaw is beautiful, but to get curious about what happens inside us when something feels unfinished, uneven, messy, or different than we imagined.

What do you immediately want to change?

What becomes possible when, instead of correcting the imperfection, you allow yourself to work with it?

Whether you put a lot of pressure on yourself, get stuck overthinking, struggle with the blank page, or simply want a chance to slow down, this experience offers space to reconnect with yourself in a way that works for you.

You don’t have to be “good” at journaling.

You don’t even have to consider yourself a journaler.

You don’t have to fix, perfect, or figure anything out. Just come as you are, imperfections and all.
