Meditation & Morning Pages - Every Morning of January Remaining

Morning Pages is a concept put forward by Julia Cameron in her book "The Artist's Way: A Spiritual Path to Higher Creativity". It involves writing out 3 pages of longhand writing, strictly stream-of-consciousness. The idea is that you get out ANYTHING that comes up, there is NO CENSORING yourself whatsoever. Whatever angry, whiny, petty stuff, or boring stuff like doing the laundry, or even more creative stuff, here is your opportunity to just let it all out. As a daily practice this has the incredible ability to shift you into your creative flow and has the therapeutic effect of helping you clear the mind clutter and be more present.
This will be a casual free meetup, which means it's totally okay if you arrive late or leave early... I know mornings can be chaotic. I'm going to host this event even if no one shows up because I'm also doing this for me, so there really is no pressure on you. This is your space to start off our day off fresh with group support!
Itinerary:
- 6:30-6:55 EST --> 25 min. writing out our Morning Pages
- 6:55-7:00 EST --> 5 min. Grounding Meditation led by Lisa
