Hike (WOMEN ONLY) at Barton Creek Greenbelt

Details
Coleen's back and can't wait to lead our July Hike!
Come catch up, say hi, and join our group of hiking and adventure-loving women for a morning fresh air, connection, and rejuvenation as we explore Barton Creek Greenbelt!
This hike is an opportunity for women to gather in nature and in community and meet new friends who also love wellness + the outdoors! Come bathe your senses in nature with us and reset before the week ahead. The event will be unplugged from devices so we can slow down, acknowledge the rhythms of nature, and leave feeling restored and nourished in mind, body and soul.
During our easy pace hikes, we hike at a slower pace with the intention of building connection to nature and mindfulness. Women of all ages and backgrounds are welcome. We expect to hike ~3 miles, and this trail has about 300 feet of elevation gain. Sorry- no pets please, as we focus on our human connections!
This hike is an opportunity to explore:
- nature in your life!
- health & wellness
- connecting with new friends who share similar interests
- time unplugged and away from devices
- greater connection to mother Earth
- adventure and time on the trail
Logistics & things to bring:
- Water
- Hiking shoes or water shoes with tread
- layers
- Sun protection
- Hat / sunglasses
Please keep your RSVP accurate so we know who to expect. If you can no longer attend, please change your RSVP to "no." We are donation-based to support the cost of event facilitation and page maintenance (suggested donation: $7-15; donations are never required but very welcome)! Donations may be sent by Venmo to @journeylandandsoul.
Free street parking is available on Spyglass Drive & Barton Skyway. Please arrive ~10 minutes early to secure parking and make your way to the Spyglass Trailhead to meet us! We will meet next to the Spyglass Trailhead at 1601 Spyglass Drive (across the street from Taco Deli).
